LESSONS
Johnny has been teaching for over 12 years and playing for more than 25 years. A graduate of VCU's music program, he has also played, recorded and toured with bands all over the country. His playing background is diverse and includes rock, pop, jazz, country, punk, ska, rockabilly, Americana and more.
He is passionate about helping students achieve their own musical goals. He tailors each lesson to the individual student, focusing on the things that they want to learn.
Johnny's calling card as an instructor is his ability to teach classic styles - shuffles, Latin, jazz and early rock'n'roll grooves and show how to apply them to modern styles in order to help the student to develop their own creative voice.
Now teaching at Orbital Music Park in Richmond, VA.
